Our Story
The King Mulch and Stone journey started with Key LCID Landfill founded in 1997 by the Maness Brothers. King Mulch, originally known as King and Martin, was established in 2001 offering a wide variety of mulch products to Alamance County and later became King Mulch, a small scale mulch yard. In the year of 2019, the Moody family obtained the landfill and mulch business and has grown the two into one state of the art company. We currently are the proud owners of Key LCID Landfill and King Mulch and Stone with more to come! King Mulch and Stone has expanded the business to two convenient locations while Key Landfill continues grow. A new and very exciting location in Mebane is to come that will offer King Mulch and Stone products and a T&P landfill. Follow us on Facebook for updates on this new location!
